I am a former volunteer for bitofearth.net, which I thought was a charity organization for Lord of the Rings fans. boe told us all that they were putting on "fundraising" events involving LOTR celebrities to raise money for charity. But there was something rotten in the state of Gondor, and this LJ is devoted to exposing all the fraud, lies, and other obnoxiousness that BoE perpetrated against the hundreds of hardworking volunteers, and dozens of celebrities.
Not the most upbeat or joyous topic, but one, unfortunately, that needs to be covered.
